This website is operated by SugarHalo. Throughout the site, the terms "we," "us," and "our" refer to SugarHalo. By visiting our site or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, including any additional policies referenced here such as our Shipping Policy, Return Policy, and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our site or purchase our products.
We may update, change, or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting changes to this page. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Our store is hosted on Shopify. Shopify provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you.

Medical Disclaimer
SugarHalo is an informational companion display for supported glucose data sources. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and should not replace your CGM app, receiver, prescribed diabetes care plan, or emergency alerts. SugarHalo is a secondary display only and should never be the sole basis for any treatment decision.
Glucose data shown by SugarHalo is sourced from third-party systems, and we do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. You are responsible for managing your health in consultation with a healthcare professional and for verifying any reading against your primary, approved medical devices before taking action. Always follow the guidance of your healthcare professional and the official instructions for your glucose monitoring system.
Assumption of Risk
You understand that SugarHalo displays data from third-party sources and may be affected by delays, outages, inaccuracies, or interruptions outside our control. You assume all risk associated with relying on the information shown on the device, and you agree to use your official medical devices and care plan for all health and treatment decisions.
Third-Party Services and Compatibility
SugarHalo relies on external services and data sources operated by independent third parties, including but not limited to Dexcom and Nightscout. Some integrations use unofficial or undocumented methods. These providers are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or controlled by SugarHalo, and they may change, restrict, or discontinue access to their services at any time without notice.
If such changes occur, SugarHalo functionality may be interrupted, reduced, or unavailable. These interruptions are outside our control and do not constitute a defect, failure, or breach of warranty. We make reasonable efforts to maintain compatibility through software updates, but we do not guarantee that connectivity with any third-party service will be restored or maintained. Your use of SugarHalo depends on your continued compliance with the terms of those third-party services and on their availability.
Hardware Warranty
SugarHalo hardware is warranted against defects for 6 months from the date of delivery. If your device has a manufacturing defect within this period, contact us at sugarhalo.support@gmail.com and we will repair or replace it at our discretion.
This warranty does not cover:
- Service interruptions or feature loss caused by changes to, or unavailability of, third-party services such as Dexcom or Nightscout
- Internet, Wi-Fi, or network connectivity issues
- Software changes required by third-party updates
- Normal wear, accidental damage, misuse, or unauthorized modification
Outside of this limited warranty, SugarHalo hardware and software are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Except for the limited hardware warranty stated above, our products and website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy. We do not guarantee that the product or website will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error free, or continuously compatible with third-party services.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SugarHalo and its owner, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind, including lost profits, lost data, or replacement costs, arising from your use of or inability to use our products or website, or from any reliance on the information displayed by the device. Our total liability for any claim related to a product will not exceed the amount you paid for that product. Because some states do not allow certain limitations of liability, some of the above may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SugarHalo and its owner, employees, and suppliers from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use our site or products for any unlawful purpose, to violate any laws, to infringe on intellectual property rights, to harass or harm others, to submit false information, to transmit viruses or malicious code, to collect others' personal information, or to interfere with the security of the site. We reserve the right to terminate your use of the site for violating any of these prohibitions.
Intellectual Property
All SugarHalo branding, website content, product copy, images, and designs are owned by SugarHalo or used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any of our content without our express written permission.
Personal Information
Your submission of personal information through our store is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the unenforceable portion will be severed without affecting the validity of the remaining provisions.
Termination
These Terms of Service are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us. Obligations and liabilities incurred before termination survive.
